What it does
The Marketplace API gives your systems direct access to MeUp's inventory: the same listings, prices and niche rates as the marketplace, in a format your code can use. Typical uses:
feeding MeUp inventory into your internal dashboards or reporting
building shortlists automatically for clients or campaigns
matching MeUp placements against your own data, such as target keywords or existing backlinks
powering your own client-facing tools with MeUp's portfolio behind them
What the data includes
For each link:
website, link type (guest post, homepage, innerpage) and duration
price, plus approximate EUR and GBP prices, and the price for each sensitive niche it accepts
languages, categories and tags
estimated delivery time, minimum word count and any publisher note
SEO metrics can be included in results on request.
Filtering
Filter by link type, country, language, niche, and DR, DA or Authority Score ranges. Results come back 50 at a time, with a cursor to fetch the next page.
How to get access
Request an API key. Contact our team through chat or at meup.com/contact-us.
Read the docs. Endpoints, filters, response fields and examples are in the API documentation.
Keep your key private. Treat it like a password.
Good to know
Rate limit: 60 requests per minute by default. Your key can be set up differently if you need more.
Counts differ from the marketplace. The API returns every purchasable link as its own item. The marketplace groups links from the same site and type into one listing, so API totals are higher.
Prices: orders are always charged in USD. EUR and GBP figures are for guidance.
API or MCP?
API: for developers building systems, such as dashboards, automations and internal tools.
MCP: for teams who want to search MeUp in plain language through AI agents on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and others. See Enrich Your AI Agents with the MeUp Marketplace.
