Dr. Linkos and Link Tracking Explained

Once your link goes live, Dr. Linkos takes over. It's MeUp's built-in link monitoring feature — free on every placement — and it runs automatically from the moment your link is published. No need to set it up or check in manually.

What Dr. Linkos monitors

For every active placement in your account, Dr. Linkos runs regular

checkups and flags anything that changes:

  • Missing links — the link has been removed from the page or the page itself is down

  • Nofollow tags — the link attribute has changed from dofollow to nofollow or sponsored

  • Noindex tags — the page containing your link is hidden from Google's index

These are the three issues that silently cost you SEO value if they go

undetected. Dr. Linkos catches them before they compound.

What happens when an issue is detected

When Dr. Linkos flags a problem, our team steps in. We contact the publisher directly, identify the cause, and work to get it resolved — without you needing to raise a ticket or chase anyone.

Most issues are handled and closed before you'd even notice them.

That's the point.

Link Tracking History

Every check Dr. Linkos performs is logged in your account. Go to

ToolsLink Tracking History to see a full timestamped record of

each checkup and its result across all your active placements. If you

ever want to audit a link's health over time, it's all there.

If you spot something yourself

Dr. Linkos catches most issues automatically, but if you notice a problem before the system flags it — don't wait. Reach out to our support team with your order number and details of what you're seeing. We'll investigate and resolve it promptly.

In the rare cases where an issue can't be fixed, you'll receive a full refund.

💡 Dr. Linkos is included on every placement at no extra cost. It's

not a premium add-on — it's part of how MeUp works.
