Do Links on MeUp Stay Permanent?

Most links on MeUp are permanent — and the vast majority stay live well beyond the guarantee period. But "permanent" in link building always comes with context worth understanding.

The 12-month guarantee

Every placement comes with a 12-month guarantee unless the listing specifies a shorter duration. During that period, if your link is removed, we'll contact the publisher to reinstate it. If they can't, you'll receive a full refund.

After the guarantee period

We can't contractually guarantee a link stays live forever. Publishers change editorial policies, sites get sold, domains expire — these are external factors outside our control. What we can tell you is that in practice, the overwhelming majority of links remain in place long after 12 months.

Listings with a specified duration

Some placements — particularly homepage links — have an explicitly stated duration (3 months, 6 months, and so on). This is shown on the listing before you order. The guarantee applies for that stated period; after it ends, the placement isn't expected to continue.

For all other listings, "permanent" means no stated end date — not a

contractual promise that the link will exist indefinitely, but a genuine

expectation that it will.

How we protect your links

Dr. Linkos monitors every active placement continuously — checking for missing links, nofollow tags, and noindex issues. If something changes, our team is alerted and acts on it proactively. You don't need to babysit your placements.
