Reviewing Content Before It's Published

If a publisher or MeUp's copywriters write your article, you can review it before it goes live. Here's how to approve it or ask for changes.

Written by Velichko Achev

When you review content

  • Written by MeUp's copywriters (a content tier): the finished article comes to you for approval before it's sent to the publisher.

  • Written by the publisher (By Publisher): review is optional. To see the article first, switch on Review content from publisher when you fill in the order details. If you leave it off, the publisher writes and publishes without a review step.

When an article is ready for you, the order moves to Orders → Needs Action and you'll get a notification.

How to review

  1. Open the order from Needs Action.

  2. Read the article in the order page.

  3. Choose one:

    • Approve: the article goes ahead to publication.

    • Disapprove: the article goes back for correction. Add a short reason saying exactly what needs to change.

⚠ Clicked the wrong button? If you disapproved by mistake, or approved too early, contact us through chat with your order number straight away and we'll sort it out.

The order page shows how many you've used. Be specific in your reason (tone, keyword, a section to cut or add) so each round counts.

Tips for a fast review

  • Review promptly. The order waits while the article is with you.

  • Check that your link and anchor text are where you want them.

  • Ask for changes in one go rather than over several rounds.
