What Happens After You Place an Order

Once you confirm an order on MeUp, it moves through a set sequence. Here's exactly what happens at each stage and what you can expect from us along the way.

The order stages

1. Order confirmed

Your order appears in the Orders tab immediately after checkout. At

this point, your wallet has been debited and your order details are

ready to fill in β€” anchor text, target URL, and content if you're providing it.

If you haven't filled in your order details yet, do that now. The publisher can't review until everything is submitted.

2. Submitted for publisher review

Once you submit your order details, the publisher receives it for review. They check that the content meets their editorial requirements and that the link placement fits their site. Turnaround time starts from this point β€” not from when you first placed the order.

3. Publisher accepts or rejects

If accepted: Your placement enters the publisher's queue and goes live within the estimated turnaround window. You'll get an email notification confirming acceptance.

If rejected: You'll get an email with the rejection reason. Open the order, review the feedback, make the necessary changes, and resubmit. Common rejection reasons include content quality, topic mismatch, or anchor text that looks unnatural.

4. Link goes live

When the publisher publishes your placement, you'll receive an

email notification with confirmation that the link is live. You can also

verify it directly from your Orders tab β€” the order status updates

automatically.

5. Link monitoring begins

Once live, MeUp's automated monitoring system checks your link on

an ongoing basis. If the link goes down, changes to nofollow, or disappears, you'll get an alert and we'll contact the publisher to resolve it.

Tracking your orders

Everything is visible in your Orders tab in real time. Each order shows its current status, the placement details, and the live URL once it's published. You don't need to chase publishers or check manually β€” the dashboard updates as things progress.

πŸ’‘ Estimated turnaround times are shown on each listing in the

marketplace before you order. Some publishers turn around same-

day; others take several days. If your order is significantly past the

estimated window, contact support with your order number.

⚠ Orders stalled at "awaiting details": If your order isn't moving,

check whether you've fully submitted your anchor text, target URL,

and content. An order won't go to publisher review until all required

fields are filled in.
